Rebuild the
foundation for implants.
Bone grafting rebuilds jawbone that has shrunk after tooth loss, and a sinus lift adds bone to the upper jaw — giving a dental implant something solid to anchor to. Both are done in-house by Dr. Bradley, a UCLA-trained, surgically-proficient dentist.

Restoring lost bone so teeth have support.
When teeth are lost, the jawbone underneath slowly shrinks — which can make implants harder to place and change the shape of your face. A bone graft adds natural or synthetic bone material to that area to encourage new growth and rebuild strength. A sinus lift is a related procedure for the upper back jaw: it gently raises the sinus membrane and places bone beneath it, where the molars and premolars sit, when the sinus cavity has left too little bone for an implant.
What grafting does for you.
A solid base for implants
Rebuilding lost bone gives a dental implant — a permanent replacement tooth — the strong foundation it needs to last.
Keeps your facial shape
Preserving bone helps maintain your natural facial contours and prevents the sunken look that follows bone loss.
Makes implants possible again
A sinus lift or graft can open up implant treatment in areas that previously lacked enough bone to support one.
Signs grafting could help.
You’ve lost a tooth
The bone where a tooth used to be deteriorates over time and may need rebuilding.
You’re preparing for implants
A strong jawbone is essential, and grafting builds it up where it has thinned.
Not enough bone in the upper jaw
When the sinus cavity sits too close to the molars, a sinus lift adds the height an implant needs.
Bone loss from gum disease
Periodontal disease can erode bone, and grafting helps regenerate what was lost.
A careful, comfortable procedure.
Consultation & 3-D scan
We take a detailed 3-D scan of your jaw and sinuses and explain plainly whether grafting is right for you — including insurance and monthly plans.
Personalized plan
Dr. Bradley designs the grafting or sinus lift around your anatomy, with local anesthesia or sedation chosen for your comfort.
Precise placement
The bone material is placed and protected with a membrane so it can knit into your own bone.
Healing & aftercare
You go home with clear instructions. The graft integrates over several months, building the solid base your implant needs.

Grafting questions, answered.
Does grafting hurt?
The area is fully numbed, and sedation is available if you feel anxious, so the procedure itself is comfortable. Afterward there may be mild soreness, which is usually managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.
Is it covered by insurance?
Most major dental plans help cover bone grafting and sinus lifts, especially when they’re medically necessary, and we offer monthly payment plans. We review your options at your appointment — no surprises.
What kind of bone is used?
Depending on what your case needs, the graft can use your own bone, carefully processed donor bone, or a synthetic substitute. Dr. Bradley recommends the right option for the area being treated.
How long is recovery?
Most people return to normal activities within a few days. Initial healing takes a week or two, and the graft itself needs several months to fully integrate before an implant is placed.
How long until I can get an implant?
Most patients wait between three and six months after grafting so the new bone can fully heal and form a solid base for the implant.

Oral Surgery
Most general offices send surgery out. Dr. Bradley trained specifically for it — so the dentist who knows your mouth is the one doing the work, and planning what comes next.
Explore →Tooth Extraction
A tooth extraction is a procedure where the dentist carefully removes a tooth from its socket in the jawbone. The area is fully numbed with local anesthetic so the experience stays comfortable. It becomes the right choice when other treatments can’t resolve the problem — usually severe decay, advanced gum disease, a tooth broken beyond repair, or crowding that affects your oral health.
Explore →Wisdom Teeth Removal
Wisdom teeth, also called third molars, are the last set of teeth to develop. Because the jaw often doesn’t have enough space for them, they can become impacted — stuck below the gum — which leads to pain, infection, and other problems. Removing them before they cause trouble helps you avoid future complications and keeps your smile healthy.
