Guard your smile,
day and night.
A custom night guard cushions your teeth against grinding and clenching while you sleep, and a sports mouthguard shields them from impact on the field. Both are fitted precisely to your bite by a UCLA-trained dentist for comfort and lasting protection.

A custom shield for your teeth.
A mouthguard is a protective device that covers your teeth and gums. Worn at night, it cushions teeth from grinding and clenching; worn during sports, it absorbs impact that could break or knock out a tooth. A custom-fitted guard is molded to your own bite, so it stays comfortable and works the way it should.
Two kinds of guard, one goal.
Protection during sports
A sports mouthguard cushions your teeth and jaw from impact, lowering the risk of broken or knocked-out teeth.
Stops grinding damage
A night guard cushions teeth against grinding and clenching (bruxism), protecting enamel and easing jaw pain and headaches.
Eases jaw tension
A guard helps stabilize the jaw and relieve discomfort from TMJ — temporomandibular joint — strain.
Signs a guard could help.
You grind or clench at night
Waking with a sore jaw, headaches, or worn-down teeth often points to nighttime grinding (bruxism).
You play contact sports
Football, basketball, boxing, and similar activities put your teeth at real risk of impact.
Jaw pain or clicking
Tension, clicking, or soreness in the jaw joint (TMJ) can often be eased with a custom guard.
Chipped or worn teeth
Unexplained chips, cracks, or flattened teeth can be a sign of clenching while you sleep.
A guard made just for you.
Consultation
We check your teeth and bite and talk through what you need the guard for — grinding, sports, or jaw relief.
Impressions or scan
We take a precise mold or digital scan of your teeth so the guard fits exactly.
Custom fabrication
Your guard is made from durable material for a snug, comfortable fit that lasts.
Fitting & care
We check the fit, adjust as needed, and show you how to clean and store it.

Mouthguard questions, answered.
Store-bought or custom — does it matter?
Stock guards are one-size-fits-all and often feel bulky, fit poorly, and slip out. A custom guard is made from impressions of your own teeth and bite, so it stays put, feels comfortable, and protects far better.
How often should I replace my guard?
Guards wear down over time and can lose their shape and cushioning. Plan to replace yours every couple of years, or sooner if you notice damage, discomfort, or a looser fit. We check it at your regular visits.
Is a night guard covered by insurance?
Many dental plans help cover custom night guards, especially when prescribed for grinding or TMJ. We verify your benefits and offer monthly payment plans — we review your options at your appointment, with no surprises.
What if I skip a mouthguard during sports?
A single impact can chip or knock out teeth, fracture the jaw, or injure soft tissue — often needing emergency care. A guard is a simple way to prevent serious damage and stay safe on the field or court.

Exams & X-Rays
A dental exam and X-rays are the diagnostic tools we use to evaluate your oral health. Alongside a hands-on look at your teeth and gums, we use digital X-rays — including panoramic and 3D cone-beam (CBCT) scans when needed — to see what the eye can’t: a clear view of your teeth, gums, and jaw for early detection and careful planning.
Explore →Teeth Cleaning
Even with careful brushing and flossing, plaque hardens into tartar that a toothbrush can’t reach. A professional cleaning removes that buildup from your teeth and gumline, helps prevent cavities and gum disease, and gives us a chance to catch small issues before they grow.
Explore →Fluoride & Sealants
Fluoride is a natural mineral that strengthens teeth much like calcium — it helps reverse the earliest signs of enamel wear, eases sensitivity, and lowers the risk of cavities. Sealants are thin, protective coatings painted onto the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, filling the deep grooves so plaque and food can’t settle in and cause decay. Together they give your smile a head start against cavities.
