Aligned, straight smile
Orthodontics

Straightened, quietly.

Clear aligners and discreet braces that move teeth gently — guided every step by where your finished smile should land.

Alignment isn't only cosmetic. It's how a bite is meant to work — so we plan the movement first, then make it nearly invisible.

What is orthodontics?

More than a straighter smile.

Orthodontics is the part of dentistry that moves teeth into better positions and corrects how they meet — your bite. Whether the tool is clear aligners or braces, the goal is the same: teeth that line up, a bite that works, and a smile you’re glad to show. Straighter teeth aren’t only about looks — they’re easier to keep clean and put less strain on your jaw. We treat kids, teens, and adults, and we plan the movement around where your finished smile should land.

The options

Ways to straighten.

Clear Aligners

Removable, near-invisible trays that shift teeth on a precise schedule — comfortable enough to forget you're wearing them.

Discreet Braces

For complex movement, low-profile brackets do the work — engineered for control where aligners can't reach.

Retention & Bite

A result is only finished when it lasts — custom retainers hold the new position and protect the bite for good.

When it helps

Signs orthodontics could help.

Crowded or crooked teeth

Teeth that overlap or twist because there isn’t enough room for them to line up.

Gaps between teeth

Spaces that show in your smile and let food pack in between teeth.

A bite that doesn’t meet right

An overbite, underbite, or crossbite that strains your teeth and jaw over time.

Teeth that are hard to clean

Crowding traps plaque where the brush can’t reach, raising the risk of decay and gum problems.

Time for a child’s first check

An early orthodontic evaluation can catch bite and spacing issues while a child’s jaw is still growing.

The path

Three steps to aligned.

01

Scan & Plan

A 3D scan maps every tooth, and we model the exact path each one will travel — before anything moves.

02

Align

Aligners or braces do the gentle work, with brief check-ins to keep everything on schedule.

03

Retain

A custom retainer locks in the result, so your new alignment stays exactly where we placed it.

The change

From crowded to aligned.

Common questions

Orthodontics questions, answered.

Aligners or braces — which is right for me?

Both straighten teeth and correct the bite well. Clear aligners are removable and nearly invisible, while braces can be the better tool for more complex movement. Dr. Bradley will look at your teeth and your goals and recommend the option that fits your smile and your life.

When should my child first be checked for alignment?

Most children benefit from an orthodontic check around age seven, when the first adult teeth and the shape of the bite start to show. Often the answer is simply to keep watching — but catching a problem early can make any later treatment shorter and simpler.

Am I too old for braces or aligners?

Not at all — teeth can be moved at almost any age. We treat plenty of adults, and clear aligners and clear braces keep the process discreet while you straighten.

How long does treatment take?

It depends on how far your teeth need to move — many treatments run about one to two years, and minor corrections can finish sooner. We’ll give you a realistic timeline at your consultation.

Do I have to wear a retainer afterward?

Yes. Teeth naturally tend to drift over time, so a retainer holds your new alignment in place. We’ll show you exactly how and when to wear it so your results last.

How much does orthodontic treatment cost?

It depends on which option you choose and how much your teeth need to move, so we give you a clear number rather than a guess. Most major dental plans help cover orthodontic treatment, and we offer monthly payment plans. We review all of your options at your free consultation — no surprises.
